Les Aillons (or Aillon station), located in the Bauges mountain range in the Savoie, is a charming small ski resort. The resort is only 35 minutes from Chambéry by car. Its ski runs, going from 1000 m to 1600 m in altitude, are best suited to intermediates or advanced skiers. The two black runs, Le Golet and Les Massines, are long and difficult and are worthy of more famous resorts. Given the fairly low altitude of the resort, we advise you to check the snow cover before you travel.
