The ski resort of La Toussuire is located in the Maurienne valley in the Savoie region of the French Alps. Built on a vast alpine plateau, La Toussuire is a mountain village that combines tradition and modernism. Its sunny ski area, which also includes the charming little village of Les Bottières, is great for family skiing. On the slopes, skiers will enjoy amazing panoramic mountain views all around them, especially the Aiguilles d'Arves peaks overlooking the resort. La Toussuire is at the centre of the immense Sybelles ski area, linking it to the resorts of Le Corbier, St Colomban des Villards, Saint-Jean d'Arves and Saint-Sorlin d'Arves. The many blue and red runs are suitable for all types of skiing and snowboarding, and are ideal for beginners and intermediate level skiers. Non-skiers can enjoy the many activities offered by the resort, such as dog sledding, speed riding, snowmobiling, tobogganing and ice skating.
