Aussois is a traditional French ski resort village in the magnificent Vanoise National Park in Savoie. Situated on an East facing mountain side in the Maurienne valley, the resort has good exposure to the sun. With ski runs above 2500 metres in altitude, skiing and snowboarding are guaranteed throughout the season. Furthermore, the installation of over 100 snow cannons ensures a snow cover on the lower runs that is always acceptable. Aussois offers good skiing, especially for intermediate and beginner skiers.
